A negative effect of clutter

Imagine this: Your desk is a mess. Your office is unrecognizable. You've got so much to do and a limited amount of time in which to do it, but you're frozen because you don't know where to begin. Sound familiar?

Clutter affects all of us. When surrounded by clutter, it's more difficult to concentrate and focus because you don't know where to start.

Oftentimes, taking five or ten minutes to clear off and/or organize the top your desk is the best way to gain some clarity. Doing so eliminates the visual clutter and stress so you can focus on the task at hand.
