Write it down

Studies have proven that if you write down your goals, you’re more than 40% likely to achieve those goals than if you hadn’t written them down. Those are some pretty good odds.

When it comes to goals for organizing, it’s helpful to break down the task into smaller, specific, achievable tasks. For example, instead of the broad goal to “Get organized”, break down that goal into “Organize middle bathroom drawer.”

Not only is a smaller goal manageable and specific, it’s also achievable because it’s a task you can complete in the matter of 15 minutes or so, and that’s pretty cool.
