Break free from the stuff

Researchers at the Center on Everyday Lives and Families (CELF) at UCLA discovered a link between clutter and depression. They found that the more stuff in a home, the more stress female homeowners feel. They also found that women associate a neat and tidy home with a happy and successful family.

When I initially meet with a prospective client, they’re frustrated and stressed, and some disclose that they feel like a failure because they cannot seem to get a handle on the stuff in their homes. Based on CELF’s research, it’s no wonder! The stuff causes physical stress and mental clutter.

Ditching the stuff that doesn’t serve you is a way to begin regaining control of your home, decreasing stress and overcoming the overwhelm. If you feel paralyzed and overwhelmed by the amount of stuff you have, please contact me. I can help you get unstuck!
