Pay attention to how you feel

When you get home after a long day at work, how do you feel when you walk in the door? Are you relieved/happy/excited to be home? Or does your home stress you out even more?

My hope for you is that you feel calm and serene as soon as you step inside your home. My hope is that your home feels like your sanctuary and your retreat from the stress of life.

If you feel even more stressed and frazzled after you open the door, what is it that is stressing you out? What are some ways to change what's stressing you out?

Take time to think about what might be contributing to your stress and how you can change it. Doing so is the first step to creating a space you can be excited to come home to.
