I’ve read that successful athletes are trained to visualize a perfect outcome - whether it’s a perfect dive or record-breaking swim time or last-second goal or a photo-finish race. They take time to go through each move, moment by moment, from the start to a victorious finish.
Which got me thinking, what if you did the same thing before you started your organizing project?
Okay, it’s a bit of a stretch in that you may not be able to completely visualize the actual organizing process or the final result, but keeping your goal in mind is so critical to keep the momentum rolling. Just keeping a positive outlook as you’re working can help tremendously.
Think to yourself, I got this. I got this.
As hokey as it may sound, I promise you, it can work!
