Sit quietly in a comfortable position. When your mind wanders, gently bring your focus back to one of these points:
- Your Breath: Breathe in positive emotions; breathe out negative emotions.
- Your Compassion: Focus on caring for yourself and those in your life.
- Your Music: Listen, really listen.
- Your Present Moment: Simply notice what's happening in your body and around you.
- Your Body: Starting at the top of your head, slowly notice the sensations in your body. Work your way all the way down to your toes and then reverse direction and do it again.
