Support or suffocate?

Does your space support you or does it suffocate you? This question really gets to the heart of how you might feel about your home and its contents.

A space that supports you feels comforting and uplifting. Like a conversation with a good friend, your home can be a source of solace and peace.

In contrast, a home that feels as though it's suffocating to live in can seem confining and restrictive.

As one client described to me, the weight of the contents of her home sat squarely on top of her chest, so she felt as though she couldn't breathe. What a heart-breaking and revealing metaphor for the state of one's physical space!

Working together, she and I decluttered and purged her home, space by space, and she began to feel the weight lift from her chest. She now describes her home as a "breath of fresh air."

If you need someone to help you create a home that supports and empowers, please reach out. I'd be honored to assist!
