I've professed my love for my walk-in closet in a previous blog post, but haven't gone into depth on my clothing. Since I work with a lot of clients on their closets, I thought I'd share details about my side of the closet.
It's no secret that I'm a minimalist and not much of a fashionista, which works to my advantage. Since I don't have a lot of clothing, it's really easy to get ready every day. For me, less options means easier decisions.
*Here's my closet, in numbers:
Dresses = 2 sleeveless
Tops = 1 cardigan, 1 sweatshirt, 4 short sleeve, 3 long sleeve, 4 sleeveless
Seasonal = 6 sweaters, 1 dress, 1 pants
Pants = 2 jeans, 3 trousers, 1 shorts
Loung/comfy = 2 hoodies, 3 tshirts, 2 pants, 3 tanks
Workout = 3 pants, 2 tanks, 2 short sleeve, 2 long sleeve, 3 bras, 1 jacket, 1 bathing suit
Shoes = 2 tennis, 1 boots, 1 flip flops, 1 sandals, 3 flats
Hats = 2
Underwear = 13 undies, 3 bras, 11 socks, 5 scarves, 1 bathing suit, 1 cover up
*Winter coat and spring jacket are located in my coat closet.
As you can see, I mostly stick to a minimal palette - blacks, whites, grays and pink/plum/crimson - which makes it easy to mix and match. This works for me. It's simple, easy and quick. It's also extremely freeing because I don't fret about my wardrobe.
