‘Tis the season

Have you made your holiday list yet? Have you started shopping for your loved ones? Americans are expected to spend more than $630 billion on holiday shopping this season. Before you buy, consider the impact each potential gift will have on your loved ones.

Some questions you may want to consider:

  • Is this something they need and want?

  • Or is it going to become clutter in their home?

  • Is this an experience they’ll enjoy with family or friends?

  • Or is this potentially going to end up in the back of their closet, never to be seen again?

Be thoughtful and contemplative with your gift-giving. Think about gifting edible treats or an annual membership to a local garden or museum. Your loved ones will appreciate receiving a gift that doesn’t add to their clutter, I promise.
